Dear Hogan I saw this taimen several years ago from Mongolia.
In Finland also we say to “salmo trutta” also “taimen” and russian it´s also the same as I now.
I send to Brian catfish video from Kizilirmak river , Corum/Bayat province. Hand no hooks!!
